New Libellula 1/3" - EC ATEX
Since 01/07/2008 Caffini Pumps has been manufacturing its Diaphragm Pump Libellula 1/3" industrial version equipped for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX - Directive 94/9/EC).

So far ATEX standardization has been succesfully tested and applied only on the above mentioned Libellula 1/3" industrial. Caffini Pumps is now working on a better implementation and every effort is being made to standardize production and increase our range of ATEX certified pumps.

In very broad terms, pump is equipped with a device that provides all the technical requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
It provides high level protection in those areas where clouds of combustible dust or air mixtures and inflammables (ex. fog - steam - gas) may be present.


Technical features:
Libellula 1/3" cast iron - arranged on stationery frame - threephase electric engine 1400 RPM.
